The 10 UAH commemorative coin is dedicated to military specialists who have participated in many Ukrainian peacekeeping missions. Since 1992, nearly 40,000 Ukrainian servicemen and women have taken part in international peacekeeping operations. Ukraine's combat reserve numbers nearly 330,000 people, most of whom are veterans of the war in Afghanistan. A separate echelon of combat veterans includes military specialists with experience in peacekeeping operations in Vietnam, Syria, Angola, Mozambique, Egypt, and other countries.

The obverse of the coin features the small State Emblem of Ukraine with the inscription UKRAINE; on a mirror background - a stylized composition: this model of the Earth depicts the continents and the resulting denomination of 10/UAH (below); year of minting 2019 (left); logo of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint (right); inscription TO PARTICIPANTS OF MILITARY ACTIVITIES ON THE TERRITORY OF OTHER STATES (above in a semicircle).
The reverse of the coin is framed by a floral ornament and has the following inscriptions on a mirror background: DUTY/MASCINITY/MEMORY.
