10 UAH coin 2024 Ukraine "State Special Transport Service" (color series)

Souvenir commemorative coin "State Special Transport Service" (color series) is dedicated to the State Special Transport Service (hereinafter referred to as the State Service), a military formation that ensures the stability of the country's transport system in peacetime and in times of emergency. The State Special Transport Service, which is a part of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, has been bravely holding the transport front since the first days of the full-scale invasion of Russia. The task of the State Service of Ukraine for Transport is not only to ensure uninterrupted operation of transport in the rear, but also to demine the de-occupied territories, build fortifications, protect critical infrastructure and restore it. Their work brings our common victory closer!

The obverse of the coin depicts the Small State Emblem of Ukraine (above); framed by an ancient Russian ornament in the center are the inscriptions: UKRAINE / 10 / Hryvnia (semicircle); the year of minting - 2024 (below) and the logo of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint (right).

The reverse of the coin has the inscriptions: STATE SPECIAL TRANSPORT SERVICE and the slogan of the State Special Transport Service servicemen - UNBREAKABLE IN SPIRIT WILL RESTORE UKRAINE!

In the center of the composition, the emblem of the State Service of Ukraine for Transport is depicted in relief.The central element of the emblem is a trident, under which is a winged wheel of Mercury, which was previously used as the emblem of the Ministry of Railways of the Ukrainian People's Republic.This symbolizes the continuity of national traditions and the specifics of the State Service of Ukraine for Transport. In the background, a bridge is schematically depicted, which symbolizes the transport infrastructure of Ukraine and the main activity of the State Service of Ukraine for Transport Infrastructure - construction and restoration of critical and transport infrastructure.
