Souvenir commemorative coin “Medical Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine” (color series) is dedicated to the selfless work of military medics who provide qualified and specialized medical care to both military personnel and civilians in the combat zone.
Today, the Armed Forces of Ukraine Medical Forces is a powerful structure that includes military hospitals and sanatoriums. They introduce the latest methods of treatment and diagnosis, cooperate with the best medical centers in the world, and provide medical and psychological rehabilitation for military personnel.
The obverse of the coin depicts the Small State Emblem of Ukraine (top); framed by the Old Russian ornament in the center are the inscriptions: UKRAINE / 10 / Hryvnia (semicircle); the year of minting - 2024 (bottom) and the logo of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint (right).
The reverse of the coin bears the inscriptions: PROFESSIONALISM AND MERCY and MEDICAL FORCES OF THE ARMED FORCES OF UKRAINE. The center of the composition features the emblem of the Medical Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, based on a British heraldic shield. The centerpiece of the shield is a cross with a stylized snake wrapped around a diver. The cross symbolizes a sign of comprehensive help and protection recognized in Europe and around the world, and the snake wrapping around the diver is a symbol of medical powers. In the background, camouflage pixels are schematically depicted.
