The 10 UAH commemorative coin is dedicated to the troops, who are the backbone and main carrier of the combat capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Due to their purpose and the scope of tasks assigned to them, they play a crucial role in the performance of the Armed Forces' functions both in peacetime and wartime. The Land Forces are a solid monolith of mechanized and tank troops, missile troops and artillery, army aviation, air defense units, special forces, logistics units, and territorial defense brigades.

On the obverse of the coin are: above - the inscription UKRAINE (semicircle), in the center on a mirror background - the emblem of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, to the left of which is the small State Emblem of Ukraine, to the right - the armband of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine; under the emblem: the year of minting - 2021 and the denomination - TEN Hryvnias (semicircle); logo of the Banknote and Minting Works of the National Bank of Ukraine (below to the right of the emblem of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine).
The reverse of the coin depicts the Ukrainian war with weapons (left) and features a stylized composition: military equipment against a camouflage background; on a mirror background, the inscription: SUCHOPSUIT AFRICAN MILITARY (semicircle on the right).
