The commemorative coin "Logistics Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine" is dedicated to the military logistics system of Ukraine, which ensures the smooth functioning of the Ukrainian army.
Logistics forces play a key role in the daily activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as during combat training, mobilization, operational (strategic) deployment and combat operations.
This coin recognizes the importance of military logisticians who create a strong rear for Ukrainian soldiers, ensuring the uninterrupted functioning of supply routes for the defense forces to receive everything they need to fight and sustain their lives even in active hostilities.
The obverse of the coin depicts the Small State Emblem of Ukraine (above); framed by the ancient Russian ornament in the center are the inscriptions: UKRAINE / 10 / Hryvnia (semicircle); the year of minting - 2024 (below) and the logo of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint (right).
The reverse of the coin bears the inscriptions: STEEL MIGHT, INDOMITABLE WILL! and LOGISTICS FORCES OF THE ARMED FORCES OF UKRAINE. The main element of the composition is the image of the beret badge of the Logistics Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, based on a stylized outline of a fortress with four bastions, on which are superimposed crossed swords with the handles down with blades turning into wheat ears, and the rod of Mercury, located vertically. The background of the coin is schematically depicted with topographical maps of roads and fragments of land.
