The souvenir commemorative coin "Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine" is dedicated to a separate branch of the armed forces that plays a key role in modern combat operations. The Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (hereinafter referred to as the AFU) systematically use air, sea, and ground unmanned and robotic systems to carry out a wide range of combat tasks in conditions of asymmetric confrontation. This coin honors the contribution of the personnel of the UAF Unmanned Systems Forces to the defense of Ukraine's territorial integrity, symbolizing the innovation, technological superiority, and intelligence of the Ukrainian army.
The obverse of the coin features the small State Emblem of Ukraine (at the top); surrounded by an ancient Russian ornament, with the inscriptions: UKRAINE / 10 / HRYVNIAS (in a semicircle) in the center; against the background of the ornament, the year of minting of the coin is indicated – 2025 (at the bottom) and the logo of the Banknote and Coin Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine (on the right).
The reverse of the coin features the inscriptions: FORCES OF UNMANNED SYSTEMS OF THE ARMED FORCES OF UKRAINE (at the top) and the motto of the formation OUR WEAPON IS MIND (at the bottom). The main element of the composition is the emblem of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – a stylized steel swallow, which symbolizes the technological capabilities, speed, and adaptability of this branch of the armed forces. The background of the reverse is complemented by a stylized image of air currents, emphasizing the dynamics, maneuverability, and stealth of unmanned systems.
