This commemorative circulation coin is dedicated to an integral part of Ukraine, as defined by the Constitution of Ukraine: the Mykolaiv region. Its territorial affiliation with Ukraine is confirmed by international law and recognized by the international community.
This coin continues the series of commemorative circulation coins dedicated to the administrative-territorial units of Ukraine, which, in the face of armed aggression, affirm the importance of national unity and solidarity in the struggle for freedom and independence.
The obverse of the coin features the Small State Emblem of Ukraine (at the top); framed by an Old Russian ornament, the inscriptions “УКРАЇНА / 10 / ГРИВЕНЬ” (in a semicircle) are placed in the center; against the background of the ornament, the year of minting - 2026 (at the bottom) - and the logo of the Banknote and Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine (on the right) are indicated.
The reverse of the coin features a stylized map of Ukraine with clearly defined administrative boundaries on a mirror-finish background. On the map, against a matte background that contrasts with the rest of the image, the Mykolaiv Oblast is highlighted as part of a unified national territory. The inscription “MYKOLAIV OBLAST” is placed along the top edge, and the series motto “WE ARE STRONG. WE ARE TOGETHER” is placed at the bottom.
