This commemorative circulation coin is dedicated to an integral part of Ukraine, as defined by the Constitution of Ukraine: the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Its territorial affiliation with Ukraine is confirmed by international law and recognized by the international community.
This coin continues the series of commemorative circulation coins dedicated to the administrative-territorial units of Ukraine, which, in the face of armed aggression, affirm the importance of national unity and solidarity in the struggle for freedom and independence.
The obverse of the coin features the Small State Emblem of Ukraine (at the top); framed by Old Russian ornamentation, the inscriptions UKRAINE / 10 / HRYVNIAS (in a semicircle) are placed in the center; against the background of the ornamentation, the year of minting—2026 (at the bottom)—and the logo of the Banknote and Coin Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine (on the right) are indicated.
The reverse of the coin features a stylized map of Ukraine with clearly defined administrative boundaries on a mirror-like background. On the map, against a matte background that contrasts with the rest of the image, the Zaporizhzhia region is highlighted, emphasizing its belonging to a single state space. The inscription ZAPORIZHZHIA REGION is placed along the top edge, and the series motto WE ARE STRONG. WE ARE TOGETHER is placed at the bottom.
