The commemorative coin “The Light of Goodness and Love (Olena Pchilka 1849-1930)” is dedicated to one of the most prominent figures in Ukrainian history and culture - Olena Pchilka. Olena Petrivna Kosach (her real name) was a legendary poet, translator, scholar, folklorist, ethnographer, publisher, and active public figure. Her life was full of tireless work for the benefit of the Ukrainian people: from collecting treasures of Ukrainian folklore and educating a brilliant generation to fighting for the right of Ukrainians to speak and write in their native language. Olena Pchilka's creative heritage is still relevant today, and her name is a symbol of a Ukrainian woman who combines high intellectual culture, patriotism, and boundless love for Ukraine.

The obverse of the coin depicts a stylized portrait of Olena Pchilka against a mirror background. The image of the woman on the background, whose outline resembles a crown, impresses with its deep, full of wisdom and determination look. It seems to pierce time, reminding us of the eternal significance of her works. To the left and right of the portrait are the inscriptions OLENA PCHILKA and OLGA KOSACH, and below in a semicircle is the inscription “QUEEN MOTHER,” as Lesia Ukrainka lovingly called her mother. The years of the poet's life 1849 / 1930 complete the composition of the reverse.
The reverse of the coin features a stylized composition that symbolizes Olena Pchilka's pedagogical and educational activities. In the center of the composition are six flower pots stylized as elements of the Hadiach ornament. This is not just a detail, but a symbol of the writer's six children, who were brought up in the spirit of Ukrainian traditions. Their arrangement resembles the merlons of a defensive wall, emphasizing the unshakable “fortress of Ukrainian identity” that has resisted hostile influences for centuries. On the right between the stylized pots is the logo of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint, and the lower part of the coin bears the inscription UKRAINE, the denomination 2 with the graphic symbol of the hryvnia, the small State Emblem of Ukraine and the minting year 20 / 24.
