“Pula Arena” 2-euro commemorative coin (Croatia, 2025).
The obverse features the main motif of the Pula Arena (amphitheater) as seen from the Adriatic Sea. To the right is the Church of St. Anthony. The inscription “CITY OF PULA — ARENA,” the name of the issuing country “CROATIA,” and the year of issue “2025” are arranged in a circle along the edge of the coin’s central field. The outer ring features the 12 stars of the European flag.
On the reverse, a map of Western Europe spans the outer ring and the inner part of the coin on the right side. The inscription “2 EURO” appears above the map of Europe, with the number “2” situated in an open space symbolizing the eastern part of the Atlantic Ocean. The 12 stars are arranged on the right side of the outer ring: six stars above the map of Europe and six below it; six vertical stripes cross the inner part of the coin, visually connecting the upper and lower segments of the stars.
