The commemorative coin is dedicated to the employees of the Ukrainian railway transport, who are deservedly called "iron" people. Description of the obverse. The obverse of the coin features a stylized trident, the contours of which are outlined by the image of railroad tracks. In the center on a mirror background is the logo of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint, the year of minting 20 / 23; above is the Small State Emblem of Ukraine, the denomination of the coin 5 and the graphic sign of the hryvnia; the inscription UKRAINE (left).
Reverse description. The reverse of the coin depicts a train stylized with the logo of Ukrzaliznytsia, which breaks out of the encirclement; on both sides of the train is a symbolic composition containing sharp points directed at it; above is the inscription THANK YOU TO THE RAILWAYS!The reverse motif illustrates the real events of the beginning of the full-scale invasion, when Ukrainian railroad workers risked their lives to save people on the border of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions. The aggressor's tanks were trying to stop the evacuation of civilians by driving towards and across the train.
