The reverse of the coin features: a stylized composition symbolizing Ukraine, whose image is embodied in the symbol of the trident, which is “on the cutting edge” of time, modern trends, social processes, world attention and the creation of a new world history:A mirrored blade is placed on a matte background; the small State Emblem of Ukraine is placed at the top; the following inscriptions are placed at the bottom right: UKRAINE (vertically), year of minting - 2023; denomination - 5 and the graphic symbol of the hryvnia; the logo of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint (to the left of the blade).
The obverse of the coin features a stylized composition on a mirror background, symbolizing the phenomenon of courage and heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people:In the center of the composition is a star that shone with new hope (a symbolic parallel is the Star of Bethlehem) thanks to the incredible courage and determination of Ukrainians, which destroyed the unshakable ideological (mythical) “stone-concrete” of the invincibility of the Russian army, which has been inspired by Russian propaganda around the world for many decades; in the center is a vertical inscription: COURAGE TO BE.
