5 UAH coin "Country of Superheroes. Thanks to the medics!" 2024, is dedicated to the selfless work of Ukraine's medical professionals who save thousands of lives both in the rear and on the front line under enemy fire and the sound of air raid sirens. This coin is a symbol of gratitude and respect for those who do not seek glory but deserve the highest recognition. It reflects the indomitable spirit of Ukraine, where every medic is a superhero of our time!
The obverse of the coin depicts a stylized bandage strip with blood in the shape of the outline of the territory of Ukraine. This is an unhealed wound in the heart of every Ukrainian, which constantly hurts and bleeds. At the top, on a mirror background, is the inscription UKRAINE, to the right of the inscription is the small State Emblem of Ukraine. Below the bandage at the bottom right is the face value of the coin 5, the graphic sign of the hryvnia and the year of minting 2024, and at the bottom left is the logo of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint.
On the reverse of the coin, in the center of the composition, intersecting bandage strips are modeled. They seem to isolate a wound covered by a doctor's hand, which seems to heal and relieve pain. This symbolizes the dedication and professionalism of medical professionals who fight for people's lives in the most difficult circumstances.
