The reverse of the coin, against a mirror background on the right, is the inscription LIFE, which is stylized as a blood transfusion system with a needle. This element symbolizes the process of supplying blood to the vessels depicted in the lower left. The stylized drop and the inscription "life" harmoniously combine to form the name of the coin - "Drop of Life". The texture of the matte background on which all these elements are placed symbolizes the great need for donation in times of war.
The obverse of the coin depicts a three-dimensional drop of blood in the center of the composition, surrounded by schematic figures of people joined by handshakes. This image is a testament to the noble common goal of saving lives. From each figure to the center of the circle, stylized drops of blood move, symbolizing the personal contribution to donation of each person who cares. In the center of the circle is the small State Emblem of Ukraine; the inscriptions UKRAINE (below the composition), the denomination of 5 and the graphic symbol of the hryvnia (below right), the minting year 20/24 (below left of the figures), and the logo of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint (between the figures).
