The commemorative coin “Ukrainian Cotton. Neptune” commemorative coin is dedicated to the Ukrainian coastal missile system RK-360MC Neptune, which became a real breakthrough for the domestic defense industry in the development and production of modern weapons. It not only defeated one of the largest ships of the Russian Navy in the first months of the full-scale invasion, but also forever inscribed itself in the history of Ukrainian defense. The sinking of the Moskva missile cruiser is yet another proof that Ukrainian “cotton” will always be accurate.

The obverse of the coin depicts the Neptune coastal mobile missile system at the moment of launching a missile, which was adopted by the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as evidenced by the emblem in the upper left. The mirrored background reflects the stylized trident of Neptune, the god of the seas, symbolizing the indomitable Ukrainian spirit that aptly pierces enemy targets. At the top right, parallel to the rocket, is the inscription NEPTUNE.
The reverse of the coin depicts a stylized image of the Moskva missile cruiser with a hole in its hull, sunk by the skill of our military with R-360 Neptune anti-ship missiles.
The “invulnerable” flagship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet is stylized as a children's paper boat, which emphasizes this myth, despite its real size and armament.The ship's wheelhouse depicts the outline of the Kremlin tower with the broken teeth of the Kremlin wall, symbolizing the collapse of Russia's imperial ambitions.On the upper left against a mirror background are the face value of the coin 5 and the graphic sign of the hryvnia, the year of minting 2024 (vertically), the small State Emblem of Ukraine and the inscription UKRAINE (vertically); at the bottom left is the logo of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint.
