The obverse of the coin features: on a mirror background the emblem of the State Protection Department of Ukraine (left), the denomination 5 and the graphic symbol of the hryvnia (above the emblem); the small State Emblem of Ukraine, the inscriptions: UKRAINE / 2024, the logo of the Banknote Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine (below the emblem); on the right on a matte background the motto: TO THE STATE / TO THE PEOPLE / TO THE LAW.
The reverse of the coin features a stylized composition on a mirror background, symbolizing different historical periods of Ukraine's formation and the defense of the state by Ukrainian soldiers, whose courage has remained unchanged through the generations. On the left side of the composition is a stylized trident; in the center is a mace with sabers, a shield decorated with a Cossack cross, which are symbols of power, combat brotherhood and protection; on the right is a fragment of a camera lens, which symbolizes modern technologies in the organization of the security and safety process.
