The commemorative coin "The Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine" is dedicated to the leading component of Ukraine's security and defense forces. The Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine (SZRU) provides information for strategic decision-making in the foreign policy, economic, military, scientific, technical, information, environmental and cybersecurity spheres, contributing to the strengthening of national security and sovereignty of the state. The commemorative coin emphasizes the importance of the SZRU and its contribution to the protection of national interests.
The reverse of the coin depicts a stylized trident, around which the words of a well-known Ukrainian politician are encrypted in numbers. The coding was based on the code of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army and a code word chosen by the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine.
The obverse of the coin features the small State Emblem of Ukraine at the top.
The first three words of the agency's name are encoded in Morse code around the perimeter of the circle, which is duplicated in the lower part:The center of the coin depicts a cross, which is the main element of the new symbols and departmental awards of the SZRU. In the center of the cross is the Sign of the Princely State of Volodymyr the Great (trident), framed by the slogan of the Service in Latin:OMNIA VINCIT VERITAS (“Truth conquers all”).The outline of a map with continents around the center symbolizes the spatial scope of the Service's intelligence activities.The lower left part of the coin bears the logo of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint, the denomination 5 and the graphic symbol of the hryvnia.The lower right part bears the inscription UKRAINE and the minting year 2025.
