This commemorative coin is dedicated to the legendary surface vessel “Sea Baby,” a remarkable achievement of Ukraine’s defense-industrial complex and a testament to Ukraine’s strength at sea. The most famous operations involving this unmanned vessel were the successful strikes on the Crimean Bridge and a number of ships belonging to the Russian Black Sea Fleet.

The reverse of the coin depicts the “Sea Baby” marine drone cutting through the waves of the Black Sea. At the top is the logo of the Security Service of Ukraine, which developed this device; below it is the inscription “SEA BABY,” rendered in the style of stenciled military markings. The letter “Y” is stylized to resemble the “Victory” gesture.
The obverse of the coin features a stylized trident, which is compositionally extended by the image of the “Sea Baby” marine drone in motion. The upper part of the coin features the small State Emblem of Ukraine, the inscription “UKRAINE,” and the year of minting—2026; at the bottom are the logo of the Banknote and Coin Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine, the denomination “5,” and the graphic symbol of the hryvnia.
