The commemorative coin is dedicated to "Palyanytsia", the first domestic long-range weapon system with a turbojet engine, designed for high-precision strikes by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on strategic targets deep behind enemy lines.
The reverse of the coin depicts an attack by a Ukrainian long-range missile drone on a fuel and energy complex of the aggressor country. At the top is the inscription PALYANITSA.
The obverse of the coin depicts a stylized silhouette of the Paliyanitsa missile drone striking a snake. The upper part of the composition features the inscription UKRAINE, the denomination 5, the hryvnia symbol, and the year of minting, 2026. The logo of the Banknote and Coin Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine is located at the bottom left.
