On the obverse of the coin are: in the upper left - the inscription UKRAINE (semicircle), under which the year of minting (2018) and the small State Emblem of Ukraine; in the center - a stylized composition: two men's hands with weapons of different eras, symbolizing the defenders of Ukraine of different times; on the mirror background are the inscriptions: FOR HONOR! FOR GLORY! FOR THE PEOPLE!"; in the lower left is the denomination of 10 UAH on a stylized fragment of a shield; on the right is the logo of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint.

The reverse of the coin depicts a map of Ukraine against a relief background with the inscription WHO IF NOT US; in a circle is the inscription DAY OF UKRAINIAN VOLUNTEER.
3. 10 UAH coin 2018 Ukraine "100th anniversary of the Ukrainian Navy"
The 10 UAH commemorative coin is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Ukrainian Navy. At the beginning of 1918, the Central Rada adopted a number of important naval laws, which at that time were declarative in nature, including one of the most important - the "Provisional Law on the Fleet". On April 29, 1918, Admiral M. Sablin, Commander of the Black Sea Fleet, taking into account the mood of the majority of Ukrainian sailors, officially proclaimed the entire Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol and Crimea the UPR fleet and ordered to raise the Ukrainian flag. This day became an outstanding day for the Ukrainian state fleet and a holiday of the Ukrainian sea, a day when "the whole Ukrainian fleet showed its belonging to the Motherland."
